Full Day Woodland Workshop

Service Description

There is such joy the be found when you stumble upon the first snowdrops and bluebells of the season. The squelching of your gum boots in mud as you forage for wild berries, plump and bursting with colour. Come, notice the details such as acorns on oak trees in the early morning mist. Then stay quiet, and still, for there are glimpses of shy hedgehogs or deer to be found.  There are nine panels in the Woodland quilt, each themed with a different woodland motif. In the Woodland Workshop we will work on the Mushroom Panel, but I will also share with you the rest of the story so you can see how it will all come together if you choose to make the full quilt. Date: Sunday 11 October Time: Meet at 7 Clovelly Road Randwick at 10. Workshop will conclude between 3 and 4pm Cost: $120 Level: This class is suited for all levels of stitching experience You Get:  Expert tuition from Lisa Mattock  Starter Pack that includes a selection of new and vintage textiles specially sourced from France and some gorgeous colour- matched Wonderfil Eleganza perle 8 thread  The necessary template and instructions for completing the panel. Notes:  Additional instructions and notes for this workshop will be emailed on booking.  Please either bring your own lunch or you can purchase lunch from one of the nearby cafes.  This is a small event with a maximum of 8 places. Full payment is required to hold your place. As supplies are ordered specifically for this event, there are no refunds for change of mind.  If the event cannot go ahead due to government regulations it will be rescheduled. 7 Clovelly Road follows strict COVID precautions.
