Service Description

This evening workshop will provide you with individual guidance to create a custom shoe clip. You may select your preferred colour palette and material to create a stunning three- dimensional lace work that can be used as a shoe clip, hair clip or even a wrist corsage! What you will learn:  How to embellish an appliqué with a variety of sequin, beads and pearls.  How to creatively manipulate silk fabric for couture embroidery.  How to attach your lace work onto a shoe clip and complete the product.  How to apply the technique to create other matching accessory for yourself or as a gift to someone special. This workshop is suitable for beginners as well as anyone who wants to learn how to embellish. You may create this accessory to match the colour palette of your selected outfit. Feel free to bring along any material that you may wish to incorporate in your design. Date: Tuesday 13 October Time: Meet at 7 Clovelly Road Randwick at 6pm. Workshop will conclude at 9pm Cost: $115 Level: This class is suitable for all levels of stitching experience. You Get:  Expert tuition from Eranga Bandaranayake  Everything you require to complete the project. (Silk lace flowers, tulle fabric, sequins, beads, pearls, sew-on diamantes, one shoe clip, one lace pattern, thread, needles and an instruction sheet)  A glass of wine and small nibbles plate to enjoy on the night Notes:  This is a small event with a maximum of 8 places. Full payment is required to hold your place.
